Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was inaugurated as the First International Grand Patron of the Nigeria - China Business Council/China Africa Business Council on the 19th of November, 2011. This is in recognition of his role and contribution to the formation of the Chinese Business Community in Nigeria during his administration which now metamorphous into Nigeria - China Business Council.
Before this, he has served in various capacities in the categories of people like Nelson Madela, Bill Clinton and many more. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was a member of UNESCO Commission for Peace in the Minds of Men, 1981 - 1987. Member United Nations Panel of Eminent Persons on the Relationship between Disarmament and Development, 1986 in Angola. He also, served as the Co-Chairman, Commonwealth Eminent Persons Group on South Africa, 1985 - 1986.

Acho Nwakama is a member of the National Organizing Committee of the first Nigeria-China Trade and Investment Forum. He was the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Federal republic of Nigeria. He is an entrepreneur of high repute involved in agriculture and general contractors.
